Okay please can someone clarify?

What DOES happen if you fail English in the HSC?

My mum is convinced that you do not get your HSC certificate and she's serious - im still not sure whether to believe her or not :S

To fail do you have to fail the entire year or just the HSC exam/trials?

Can you back it up with some websites?

Thanks

Actually, you can't fail the hsc. I believe that all marks are scaled to be at least 50. No failing. And if you do bad on ENglish, you will still get your hsc, don't worry, there is no failing your hsc, just possibly getting a crap one.

really big. try putting in the differences into SAM. if my ENG was 70, then my UAI is 72ish, if its 55 then its like 57.

English has a huge scale down if u do bad in ur subjects....
this was from the Einstein uai calculator, roughly a 75 goes to a 65 uai ish

and a 80 goes to 82 , when u gwet below 70's u get scaled down so much
