Just reading over some drama questions and my notes and realized (yes i am aware it is a week before the exam) that i dont understand how we talk about dramatic conventions! The plays im doing are Aust: "No Sugar" and "The Removalists" and Irish: "Beauty Queen" and "Dancing at Lughnasa"
My teacher really hasnt been much help and just looks at me as if im crazy not knowing - well guys what? that really doesnt help!!
Im lost, do we just discuss how the conventions back up the ideas expressed in the plays? Or how they relate the the context? and if the latter - then how on earth do they relate to the contexts!?!?!
And also are all the conventions staging!?
