Hi there,
So I got my parts today, and correctly followed all instructions, carefully placing the CPU into the CPU socket on my Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3, but the latch will not lock into place with ease. It requires a lot of forced pressure, and I hear a "squeezing friction" sound between the CPU and the mobo. I stopped because I feel like the latch will break or the CPU will be damaged. Is this normal?
some links here that may help describe my problem further more.

Thanks
EDIT: after watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1w6UZNeGgXU I believe it requires lots of force.
