Does anyone have any ideas for creative story on belonging that aren't too cliche that are related to the above stimulus?

I just can't think of anything, and can't even find anything to trigger ideas on the internet.

Think about the delivery of the second line. If delivered sarcastically it opens up a whole lot of other avenues. Example:

Concentration Camp
