i had a look at the extension1 syllabus today and i saw that it is best to incorporate the economic/religious/social/philosophical paradigm in ur story so does dat mean that i have to write about a story in the romantic context???

Its more favourable to write a Romantic creative piece in the Romantic era because Romanticism is more a movement and period than a genre. You couldn't write about the Victorian era without a Victorian setting, unless you've got an exceedingly clever story integrating modern day values with Romantic values and settings and characters and blah blah..

Its much easier on yourself to be doing a story within the Romantic genre. Be clever and stand out, but don't take big risks.
