Hey i know i have made many threads on this topic but i was wondering on what you guys think of this idea..? i was reading around the forum and notice someone mention the term 'cliche car accidents' but i was wondering if i could talk about a 'car accident' i was involved as it was a incidence i expierenced... I was admitted to ICU but yeh was thinking maybe i could talk about the journey and events etc... while been sadated....

I dont find any problem with that-the thing is why they dont want you to write "cliche" is that usually theyre not done very well. Teen angst (love, problems etc.) shouldnt be written about though. The best creative writing pieces are those that are from first hand experience because they are presented with more meaning than someone who has made up a whole incident that didnt happen to them.
