Hi i need some help with this question :
oysters provided a rich source of zinc, an essential trace element in our diet. this minimum recommended intake for an adult is 12mg per day
if a sample of oysters was found by AAS to contain an average of 200pmm of zinc per oyster, how many oysters would an adult have to eat to react the minimum daily intake?
a) 0.2
b) 1.7
c) 6
d) 12
im guessing its c)1.7 because 200ppm=20mg (rite?) and 20/12 =1.6.
i have no idea why
does it have any thing to do with it being PER OYSTER?
anyways help is greatly appreciated!!
OH and if in an equation they say change in heat = +9898kj does that mean this is an endothermic reaction?
