When i went to Open High School for my preliminary exam, they told us we were allowed to take in dictionaries into the exam in yr 12, but with exceptions. I remember that we werent allowed to have highlighted words/bookmarks/folded over pages/electronic dictionaries....etc.

but are tags allowed?
like the tags you would have for an english dictionary that marks where a letter begins and a new letter starts..
like A, B, C and so on..

i recently got myself some sticker tags and already...stuck them onto the edges of the dictionary.. >_____<;;; i feel so silly.. i hope they are allowed?

i don't do japanese but my friend does and she had to take the tags off for the HSC exam. No writing, tags, labels etc are allowed, just the basic dictionary
