Difference in year 11 and 12 marks (1 Viewer)

Do most people see a major difference in their year 11 marks and year 12 marks? From the people in my school, i heard that a lot of people didnt do very well in their prelims but did so much better in year 12
Is this true? i know it depends on each person but overall, is this a common trend?
