what do you think of the quality of teaching at different schools, i.e. selective, comprehensive and private etc.

yeah because most students would have had the experience of studying at many different schools during their senior years to comment on them

i am a weirdo who has stayed at the same school since year 7 :S

I haven't changed school.

But I go to a public school and I find most teachers (All my teachers in my case) to be really good teachers who would take out more time to help me.

WHen compared to private schools (from people i knew in primary school) they seem to learn the same way and I find to have better commited teachers than at James Ruse/Joey's

my opinion is that selective school teachers are lazier on average than non-selective because they know their students study hardcore at home and probably get forced by their parents to do tutoring. I remember asking my parents why i had to go to a selective school in yr 6 and they said it was because the teachers were far better but this is definitely not the case, the majority of teachers at my school are hopeless
