Do i need to study preliminary software for the HSC (1 Viewer)

Hi,
i just wanted to know for software do you need to study any of the preliminary dot points. I have the preliminary textbooks and just wanted to know if i should make notes for or is it just a waste of time. If there is any prelim can you tell me how much there is

well if you look back at the past HSC past papers, you'd find it quite essential to have a look through the Prelim textbooks for understanding the basis of most of the content, but its highly recommended to study from the HSC textbooks.

for algorithms you just need more consistent practice
