Hey every one, currently looking for a job (not great time being this time of year).

So I was wondering do many places get alot of job openings in early january?

same boat......looking to volunteer until then to gain some skills and maybe some points to add in the resume

I think maybe there might be casual job openings, because 17/18 year olds are leaving for Uni and hence have to be replaced..

On the other hand, it's just after Christmas, business slows down, so stores may not be looking to hire, because there's no need for extra people..

I dunno, it depends I suppose...
