i think he means all the types of proofs in mx2: contrapositive, negation, contradiction, direct, induction etc.

Ohhh. That makes sense. I'm pretty sure some textbooks have a summary of those at the end of the textbook.

The "proof" topic offers huge opportunity for posing difficult and unusual problems for the end of MX2 exams. Knowing how to do each class of proofs is important, but so is understanding how they work so you can approach a novel problem in a productive way.

Note in the rare situation you might meet the "conversely prove that something is ..." after you have proven something in one direction, as some proofs can be done in both ways.
