All sexual and weight puns aside, have you guys managed to fit your day's revision/study into a timetable as of yet?

I'm struggling to fit 60 minute course study sessions (50mins revision + 10 break/light reading) onto the remainder of my day after school. Say you have 5 subjects in a day, that would translate to 5 hours of revision - unbroken.

I've been told to always revise what you've done in each class, that day. Also, I've been told to create a timetable, and stick to it. Also, I've been told 60minute revision sessions work best.

Im struggling to find a balance here.

I just revise after every biology or chemistry class. That is, add more to the syllabus that I learnt that day, revise it. Maths I just do the homework, I can never know how to study for it :(

I'm trying to study 3 hours a night. Hopefully it'll work out. 1 hour for daily revision each night then 2 hours of selected subjects [scattered across my study timetable] every weeknight bar Thursday.

I'm keeping my Saturdays free because I've always got something on Saturdays.

Most of the rest of my study will be done on Sunday.

Plus I've got at least one free every day so hopefully I can utilise it and do shitloads of homework during them.

I've made a timetable for myself and somehow managed to fit in completing homework, tutoring, breaks, dinner/lunch and study into one and that even excludes weekend mornings.
I allow at least 2 hours for homework every day and allow 2 hours of study (mostly making notes and reading textbooks atm) every week per subject (i.e. I would have to do 12 hours total per week in note making or study or reading textbooks). There is at least a one hour break every day which can include TV, computer, shower, eat etc (excluding lunch/dinner). The only problem is strictly sticking to it.

For science after every class, if i learn something new I add it onto the syllabus and revise that off by heart, worked so far :)

Maths just do homework

English trying to get the knowledge of the Modules and AoS

Edit: sf diegoxrock I can't seem to realise that your sig says Assignment due tomorrow but how can you get it to the buyer in time

I haven't had a good start either. I'm still settling the dust from year 11. I'm slowly (VERY SLOWLY) starting to organise myself. I've been on BOS getting advice for the hsc. Our extension classes haven't strted yet and we still have to do the subjects we did for year 11 until.. i think..next week or the week after..and then we'll change classes.
How serious are you guys who started studying? I gotta start NOW!!! (maybe later...) :)

Like for science you have the dot points, which have certain questions you should know off by heart for the HSC exam. When ever we learn a new dot point I just add it or answer the dot point then revise it. I also have separate study notes for extra information not related to the syllabus question

Wow scotty g. Is that 4-5 hours of study a day I see?
Respectah.

I'm trying to be realistic about how much I will actually stick to, instead of saying I'll do. So its 1.5 hours of study plus homework a night (which I'll gradually learn to increase).
