For chemistry and physics, if I get textbooks from like 07 will material still be the same as for like 2012, 2013?

2012 syllabus is changing I THINK. If it changes then maybe not.

Not true, they are changing the syllabus in the next few years but year 12 will be changed last. It will not affect us.

If the syllabus doesn't change then you can use any textbook since 2001-2002 with little issue - obviously, the newer the better.
