Doing a TVET that DON'T count towards ATAR (1 Viewer)

Hey, so my friend is currently enrolled in a TVET course that does NOT count towards ATAR but counts towards HSC and our careers advisor isn't available right now. She currently has 8 units and attends a selective high school with a principal who isn't too encouraging with TVET courses so no one really knows that she only has 8 units.

She was wondering if there will be some sort of 'gap' in her ATAR as she only has 8 units.
Can anybody confirm this or describe what will happen to her HSC with only 8 units.

You need 10 or more atar counting units (2from english) or you don’t get an atar
