So basically I'm going to be doing pathways (accumulation of subjects + repeating courses) through school... just wondering if anyone has any experience/advice.. I'm kinda freaking out about it.. the usual.. leaving my cohort for another cohort, making new friends and whatnot

I've done Standard English, General Maths, Society and Culture and Music 1 this year and hope to finish them this year. I'm going to do Ancient History next year as in year 11 I did the prelim course. I'm also thinking of repeating General Maths to see if I can achieve a higher mark..

p.s. I've read that you can do a subject within the same area, can anyone elaborate on that - is it only for ext courses of a subject?
Would I be able to do any other subjects with the ones I've listed above? ^^ (e.g. could I do CAFS since I've completed Society.. I've heard that it's a very similar course? Or could I do Music 2 since I have done Music 1?)

Many thanks!!! :~)

Although I can't give you specific advice on what subjects you can do for the pathways program since I didn't do it, however regarding your general fear of leaving one cohort and having to make new friends, remember this-you will be experiencing these sort of changes when you get out to work in the real world, whilst familiarity is synonymous with comfort, to get the most out of your life-embrace fear and opportunities rather than be scared of it, use this as an opportunity to make more friends, to know more people, and to fight for different dreams, whatever they may be. Don't be scared, be excited, be passionate, it is the only way you will enjoy this journey, don't let fear impede you from that :) Best of luck (last tip: let things flow, don't worry excessively, things will actually go okay if you don't over worry yourself <3))

I can't lie when the cohort gives the people doing pathways weird looks in my class.
But thats really only because it was our first time ever seeing pathways.
Regarding getting to know people, as long as you're comfortable to talk to people and have a friendly vibe, everything will be alright.

The two 2015ers in our class don't seem that friendly and they don't even turn up to school for a majority of the term, so I haven't gotten to know them yet.
