by my calaculations u need

7 x ACCT <<< for double major
7 x MGMT <<< for double major

4 x ECON
4 x LEGT <<< for cpa/ca
1 x FINS

2 x GENED <<<for degree

25 courses, where ur only allowed 24courses for ur degree

maybe u can do non-awarded courses to safisty cpa/ca requirements but i dont no much abt that

i want to do a accounting and tax double major and it seems as though it would allow me to get CA.

for b.commerce, what can the two option /elective courses be??

And how do you specify your majors? so far i can see my plan as undeclared. thanks.

yeah, you have to do the extra subjects as non-award.

The conflicting subjects are:
business tax for CA (CPA recommend but not essential)
info sys for CPA (CA recommend but not essential)

LEGT 1711 and FINS1613 since they r the only first year courses required for a CA

Does anyone know if enrolling in non-award courses are more expensive than enrolling in normal courses i.e. CSp supported?

I think you have to pay full-fee for non-award courses (because HECS will only cover the courses required for your degree)

Yeah you can, but i'd be better if you do FINS1612 or FINS1613, so at least you've made a start on your finance major...and you'll be with the rest of your year group
