Dropping part of a double degree (1 Viewer)

I'm currently doing a 2nd year doing bachelor of economics/bachelor of science and I really want to drop the Bachelor of science component and just keep the economics part. As this course is run by the ASB (business faculty), what are the requirements of being able to drop the science part? Do I need to apply for internal transfer (very concerned about this as my wam isn't high enough), although since I'm dropping a part of the degree would the requirements be different?
