If i wanna apply for an engineering degree do i need to have done engineering for yr 11?go to faq then to the degrees. It should come up with the degrees eligible for the scheme for UNSWPortfolio Entry | Additional Factors Alongside Your ATAR | UNSW Sydney

no most engineering degrees have assumed knowledge like math ext and/or physics, biomedical also has bio (just make sure by looking up the specific course though). But there are no pre reqs!
ALSO
I was speaking to my dad about optom vs vision science
They both have the same course work for the first 3ish years. So as long as you get a high enough WAM (doing like WAM boosting courses) you can transfer to optom or even med after a year, you will have the same knowledge as the others in the cohort. They're also working on easier transfers between the two degrees in future years, hope this helps a little
