do eas points get considered with your atar or only if institutions accept it? i received an atar of 96.5 and want to do law at either usyd or unsw and am eligible to receive eas points for going to a disadvantaged school and having youth allowance. how are my chances? ive been told that people with 95 atar have gotten into unsw law.

From what I can gather, a university will allocate x amount of places to EAS applicants. Sometimes positions will be exhausted before it reaches the maximum 5 additional points.
