So does the types of disadvantages that are listed in the EAS booklet are regarded differently by various unis in terms of severity, therefore the eligibility for bonus marks?
I got an ATAR of 88.9 and will have 2 bonus ATAR marks added to it under the HSC PLUS as I chose Eco UNSW in UNSW and I got band 5 in maths. The disadvantage which I applied was Distance Education and in the correspondence letter I received from UAC, UNSW was listed as 'NO' under the eligibility category.
Some of the people who were eligible for EAS under the Access Scheme last year received letters from UNSW to informed them of their rewarded bonus points, but I'm not sure whether the letter is sent through postage or email.
Arghh... I'm kinda confused and anxious as I'm 0.7 ATAR points below the Eco cut off which is 91.6...
Any help?
