I'm wondering if I should apply for EAS, I suffer from glandular fever. Is this enough for me to qualify for it? Or would I have to show that glandular fever has interrupted my schooling? Because I have a fair few sick days and I missed all of my prelims in year 11, but that's about it so I'm unsure?

Yeah you would have to demonstrate all that. Still worth a shot imo

Worth a shot I suppose, especially if you've feel it has impacted you a lot.

You can use it but make sure you brainstorm the disadvantages that it has towards your education. Have a good responsible teacher (most likely careers advisor, school counsellor, close teacher etc. who knows of your situation best) willing to complete an entire paragraph on your circumstances - imo this is more important than what your doctor or health professional writes

So I can't rely on my paediatrician?

Youll definitely need both parties to support you, but when i did mine my gp literally only wrote 1 to 3 words for parts that would require more writing - it only seemed like it was a confirmation of the condition. Honestly, it depends, the person you meet more regularly and knows and understands your circumstances more clearly is the person youd want more help filling out EAS from
