Problem

i started my ecmt revision questions, and i cant do Q4, can someone tell me how to start to do it, i only need to know how to do (a)..(maybe its a bit silly to ask this question), but whatever, can u guys just tell me? thanks!

I dont know why there's "6.897 and 1.242". I didn't even use those figures

Say for question 11, to find the marginal distribution of X, you just add the columns in the table and that gives you the marginal distribution of X. The same thing goes for conditional distribution.

Use the sample mean and sample standard deviation formula. The given information is enough for you to work them out.

for the mean is it sigmaX/25
but what about the standard deviaton what do u do with sigma x(squared)?

for question 2, the 6.897 and 1.242 are the standard errors.

also..how to find the standard deviation in question 25 a uniform distribution?
