As far as I know, they cost around $14 - each book usually only covers ONE topic out of an entire course. Since there are usually 4-5 topics per course, you're looking at $50+.
My school gives us order forms, so you could ask your teachers. Or else, they're probably on the Net. Just search Google: edassist study pack

i had the chem and phys ones and i found them pretty useful, and handy. since its broken up by topic, it's user friendly cos' you dont have to tackle a whole chunky textbook, and it also gives the fleixibility of only buying the books you need in the set. each book also comes with pull out study cards. edassist send out their brochures for the holiday sessions to most schools, and you can purchase the books at these sessions with discounts on bulk purchases etc.

I think spending $40 on Conquering Chemistry would be more worthwhile than spending $57 on the Study Packs for all 4 topics in Chem.

i was wondering if the english study guides are any good. the common commercial ones (eg. excel) are so not worth the money.

I generally try to avoid all english study guides, coz they tend to put forward the same opinions. If everyone churns out the same opinions and responses, it's not going to look very good.
