I was wondering if emf (electromotive force) can be negative?

And what formula would you suggest to use for the following question?

Q1.2
A model plane has wings that are each 2.55m long. If the plane is travelling at 84.0km/h in a region where Earth's magnetic field has a vertical component of $6.4*10^-4$ T. What emf could be produced in the wing?
$(A) 0.39 V$
$(B) 0.039 V$
$(C) 48.5 V$
$(D) 4.85 V$

Of course it can. The negative sign in Physics just signifies the direction.
