My situation is as follows. I am at uni 5 days a week, constantly busy in terms of studying etc. However, at the moment I am on holidays with about 3 weeks remaining with absolutely nothing to do. Would it be worth applying for a job now considering the fact that a best case scenario would be waiting a week to get a call saying I was accepted. Also considering I might not be able to work during uni except for the occasional shift (once a week at best).

If I were to apply for one, it would only be at a pub or club (I have my RSA/RCG).

Regards.

you could, but really more effort than it's worth, my advice, wait till the LONG uni holidays, and get a job THEN, at least thats like 2 months minimum, they would then be more inclined to keep you on for a single shift

Well I wouldn't necessarily quit once uni restarted, but yeah I probably won't bother anyway.
