Engineer Industrial experience vs UTS (1 Viewer)

On the UAC book - 'We have strong links with industry and all students complete an industrial training period'

Is this similar to UTS's engineering practical experience program where the univeristy provide a list of industry partners whom u can send applications to, or do we have to find our own at UNSW?

Either way it doesn't really matter. UTS run an online service with companies who take interns, but there is a lot of competition for them and i hear a lot of the higher paying/more desirable places are found by people who put in the effort themselves rather than using the list. Idk if UNSW have something similiar but you have to do a subject right before you go on an internship at UTS (i do it next semester), and despite hearing from a lot of people that it's an annoying bludge i have one friend who insists that he learnt a lot of stuff he never knew before about applying for jobs and writing resumes etc.
