English Ext 1 in year 11 (1 Viewer)

Hi I'm currently in Year 10, we've done our subject selection for year 11 and 12 and I chose English Ext 1. The problem is I'm not sure if my teacher will allow me (she is also the head teacher in English in my school) to do it(hopefully :|) They're a bit strict I think.

I came from overseas last year and I really love studying English since primary. Plus I have a tutor now.

Do you think I can manage it?

I think it's more of a question of whether you think that you can handle it. Take a look at your marks from English this year and gage where you are at. I would suggest talking to a teacher about it though, they want you to do well Check out what module they will focus on in the next two years and maybe talk to them about the questions you will be asked. You don't have to know how to answer them now but just get a general idea about what the course is about. As long as you work hard at it then I'm sure you will be fine. Good luck!
