^ So talk about the journey that is present in each of the texts/what you have learnt about journey in class.
Wouldn't your english teacher have gone over the assessment with you?
and since it says 'three texts studied in class' you must have notes on each of these texts right, so just consolidate them into an essay or whatever it is that you are doing

My teacher doesnt teach us anything... so no we have no notes. the first two are ones from class but the other is my own cause apparently thats what we are meant to do :/

Yeah well that's the same at my school, they give us a few texts and then you have to find a related text(s) by yourself.
Well, get some notes off kids in other english classes? It's not like anyone here on BOS can just regurgitate up some work for you, unless they've done the texts themselves :s
Or - you could just read the texts, and talk about what you see about journeys Simple!

And if you haven't watched Mulan, and don't know how it relates to journeys.. might not be good to do it if you're not going to have the time :s
Find a text that you are familiar with that has a strong concept of journey? How long do you have for this speech?

Also - I googled castaway and apparently its a movie so if that's the one you're doing, I'd advise against you doing both Mulan and castaway, as it clearly states in your assessment notification that you should do a variety of texts. Do a book?

Song would be worse - unless you're a music student and can analyse how the music conveys the concept of Journeys You can't do it with the lyrics alone.
