So basically, my parents ALL OF A SUDDEN started getting pissed at me for going shit at english, and have now decided they want me to get a band 6 in advanced. I was ranked 11/21 three assessments ago, but since then ive done really well in my essays but havent found out my cumulative rank (I am guessing im now 6th or 7th out of 21) and now there's just the trials left. I have prepared tutor reviewed essays to the best of my ability and am quite confident about trials (5% weighting for AOS and 15% weighting for modules) but even if I go well in them, I predict I probably wont be able to get anything better than 4th or 5th rank. However, assuming there exists a possibility of this going terribly wrong and I actually end up closer to 10th or something, as my final rank, if I prepare some super duper awesome adaptable essays and a creative for externals, can I still get a band 6 if im ranked 5-10/21? School rank goes between 120 to 400 each year. Some years we get 10 people with band 6's for engrish adv, others we get 1.
