In Critical Study, what is needed in the intro of the essay?

How long does it have to be?

Is it better to study b4 attempting practice essays?

u need to refer to its textual integrity and introduce the different context in which it can be recieved and how that can effect the integrity... im not 100% coz have only done speech not a essay yet.

I usually state how I define/interpret the question in my introduction. Questions may be fairly ambiguois at times and it is important to indicate how you define or interpret that particular question. Doing this also forces the marker to accept your interpretation and mark your essay according to your meaning.
