at UNSW... what would you say is the ethnic composition of people doing actuarial studies?????

anyway... another question since your doing advanced maths


what aspects of advanced mathematics differ from actuarial studies and do you recommend doing economics or adv maths with actuarial studies (based on job prospects)

Like Chinese.


And Actuarial is like statistics and lots of writing. If you like maths, you do maths - depending on your major. I'm doing Pure, so I do quite a lot of theoretical work, while actuaries is more about how you can apply it to situations.

And on job prospects, well who knows what they'll be like in the future.
