What kind of text? I'll be happy to look over it, but I'm not much of an expert either

does this work
Okayy so this analysis is really good, especially for a year 10 level. The main thing I have to suggest is to add some contextual statements, such as what exactly these "societal ideas and issues" stem from - was the poet living in a time of war and conflict, did they experience personal losses, and so on? This sort of information adds depth to your understanding of the purpose of the texts. Context will be crucial in senior English essays, when you engage with each of your texts and their authors' backgrounds a bit more. Also, I'm being quite picky here, but I'm pretty sure alliteration only works when the sounds are at the beginning of words or stressed syllables, so you might want to fix up that analysis statement - you can say consonance/the use of plosives (which includes the "B" sound).

You're welcome! How long are you given to write it?

fifty minutes, but i think i have an extra seven since im in provisions
Ohh honestly that should be plenty of time to write the two-body-paragraph essay you've got. Don't stress about it yet, but you'll need to write at least 800-1000 words in 40 mins by HSC level. It'll be good practice, plus if you've already got the question, you don't even have to adapt it to the stimulus
