Its jsut alot of reading and remembering stuff. Not very hard. If you like share markets and stuff then you will find it interesting. If not.....it will be pretty boring.
1612 - its seriously got to be easier than FINS1613!
its just an intro into finance, and gives you a very general knowledge about finance.
i'm doing 1612 and 1613 at once, and i tell you, 1613 is more involved. but apparently, its still easy compared to the later ones., and super easy if you compare it to the CFA after you graduate
1612 is like an HSC subject- it's extremely straightforward, your weekly homework is comprehension based, and the final is just based on your ability to remember lecture slides. Reading the book is not required.
1613 was a pain purely because the final was considerably harder than everything else leading upto it, and the sample questions uploaded by the LIC were not representative of the style or difficulty of the final.
2624 was also painful for me but I suck at maths, and didn't really like the mathematical concepts. 3616 was nearly as easy as 1612 IMO.
