Can someone please help me with this question please?!

Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of fiscal policy on the Australian economy.

Its so hard to find figures to back up what i wanna say!! I'm focusing on the fiscal policy's effectiveness in terms of economic growth, income distribution, resource allocation, price stability and unemployment BEFORE and AFTER the global financial crisis.

Hey there,

there's probably not much point looking at before the financial crisis - you just won't have time to cover this. focus on fiscal policy now and what is happening in the economy now.

i think you should consider breaking up your response into the following areas:

- what the problem is
- what policies/projects have been implemented
- what effect this had on the problem
- was it an effective response?

you may want to also try and focus on the issues that are prevalent now, ie eco growth, unemployment, income distribution.

In terms of finding figures - ABS and RBA are both always good for stats. If you can't find what you're looking for there, then try to look for economic related articles on the net via a google search.

Also keep in mind that your evidence doesn't have to be quantitative - it can be qualitative too.
