I find it easier to learn from the Fitzpatrick, but the Cambridge has a large variety of graded questions which is excellent for practice/revision down the track. Ideally, get both as they both have their advantages/disadvantages.

3u right?

Hmm. Buy Fitzpatrick.

Cambridge is great for 4u and Fitzpatrick is pretty poor for 4u. But for 3u, Fitzpatrick is great. Cambridge tends to be quite hard for some.

What advantage does Fitzpatrick have over Cambridge for 3u? Personally I like Cambridge. Sure the extension questions are tough but the other two types of questions are ok in difficulty.

How is cambridge in terms of explaining everything clearly? and reliability of solutions at the back of the book?

Good enough in my opinion although I had a variety of sources to learn from.

Well I never really read the examples in the cambridge textbook, I just did the excercises that followed. :p The solutions are quite reliable, mistakes are pretty rare from what I've found, much more reliable than fitzpatrick answers.

i seriously dont c the point in asking other ppl
this kind of topic is so boring
different people have different perspectives on which textbook they prefer, so y ask other people??
its not like it will change the way you see it

fitzpatrick book has v.hard question and little explainations on the topics -- more like a teacher student book
cambridge has more explainations on every topic, accurate answers nd good questions -- more like a self study book
