i think as kids get older there is no difference who they learn from. but certainly, females are far more suited to the job of teaching/caring for YOUNG children (for instance at my child care centre there 15 female staff and 3 males). since the majority of teenage boys have the mental age of an eight-year old anyway, politik may just be right.
