Gap year.. to think about what i want to do (1 Viewer)

I've already accepted an offer but thinking of deferring it till next yr to take a gap year. Cuz i need more time to think about the degree i wna do.. then i will apply thru uac again this year, the only down side is i won't get bonus points and a year is wasted... Do you think this is a good idea? I know this is in the wrong forum but i need opinions! thanks.

Do you have any plans to carry out during your gap year?

ie: Holiday, work full/part time, Charity etc?

if you take a gap year make sure you have something else lined up - a job, backpacking around europe, cause if u dont it'll be realll boring
