I don't know how to word it..

To find the quadratic eqution, we use

x^2 - (sum of the roots)x + (product of the roots) = 0

Could someone help me out with finding the general formulae up to degree 4?

x^3 ? (sum of the roots)x^2 ? (sum of the roots pairs)x ? (product of roots)=0

x^4 ? etc

thank you

im pretty for cubic it's x^3 - (sum)x + (sum2)x - (prod) = 0

so im guessing for quartic..it's x^4 - + - +

anybody clarify?
