I think this might be Law or general written subject specific but apart from studying by doing my homework I like to read previous students' responses to similar questions because it's usually quite insightful and also a great way of seeing a different way of looking at things

- Listen in class;
- Attend ALL tutorials and lectures (unless you're positive you know your shit!)
- Be selective upon your reading, use your reasoning on what you think is relevant... ctrl F is great for this;
- Stay active, shit will get done, when it gets done;
- Don't deprive yourself for nobody, do what you want to do;
- It is better handing in an assignment late and losing a few marks; rather than doing a rushed job and losing a lot of mark;
- Eat right, sleep regular hours (who cares if that assignments due tomorrow an all nighter wont help; refer to last point);
- Get a start on shit early and actually work on it, don't just write a bunch of headings and say I got a start on it, I'll finish it the day it's due;
- etc...
