Just recently with two siblings heading over to the uk for university I came to the realisation that in less than two years ill have to be making decisions and realised that LSE was probably the place I want to be.

Does anyone know what it takes to get into LSE? I have looked on their Australian admissions section and they say a "percentile of 95.4% " is required. Does anyone know if 99 ATAR would guarantee entry for an international?

Thanks for any advice. And I would be a full fee paying international student if that makes any difference

From my understanding, the universities in England place a huge importance on interview as well as the ATAR. I know 2 people who applied for a universities in England the one with the less good marks, but a better interview actually got in due to them wanting student's who are passionate about their education not people who are getting pushed along and spoon feed.

Example :
Good Interview, Excellent SAT's score , 98 ATAR (Got offered a place)
Terrible Interview, Perfect SAT Score , 99 ATAR (Didn't get offered place)

So in essence focus on being a good all rounder

You may also want to look into doing SAT's as well
