We were having a debate amongst some of our friends the other day, about girls and shopping, that classical stereotype. I, for one, don't like shopping...I can do it, but I think it's such a chore. I'd rather go to the library and read or listen or play music instead. Now I'm probably going to have a few e-eggs chucked at me in here, but who else doesn't like shopping?

I understand that it can get tiring, especially if you're looking for something in particular and you just cannot find it.

But I dunno.

Generally I enjoy it.

i generally find that girls disliking shopping a major turn off.
I absolutely love my shopping, but then again it depends what im shopping for.
Clothes and electronics, i can go 24/7.

i like shopping, but i cannot stand being in one shop for hours. i will quickly check out the store, and if on the rare occasion i like something, i will try it on.

i will then leave, with or without the item(s), depending on its impression on me.

i also usually spend more time in JBhifi, EB and sanity.

Yeah sometimes I get really fussy and shopping becomes a terrible experience.

I hate shopping with friends because they go to every freaking shop and try on everything and it's so boring

I don't mind going to the shops by myself cos I go into a shop, get what I want and leave.

now you know how guys feel when their girlfriends drag them to the shops..

i remember when my ex entered the change room and i went to stand nearby and there was this guy there waiting for his gf too. and i said to him in such a miserable tone, "gosh this is so boring" and he was like please kill me
but when our girls had come out we were like ohh thats fantastic how lovely. etc etc
haha i dont know why i said that, i guess it kinda relates.

but while your girl enters the change room to try and outfit or something, i dont get why you guys cant just go and look around instead of guarding the door each and every single time :/

Yeahhhh i hate shopping with a passion.

I've never been the 'hey lets go spend hours walking around aimlessly only to end up wasting money' kind of gal. I just don't see the appeal in shopping, at all. I just try to avoid it unless it's absolutely necessary and even then i go by myself, so i can quickly go in and get what i need then leave.

jemsta, yeah i do sometimes. but there isnt always other shops close by worth going to. they group all the shitty girl clothes shops together.
they aren't in the change rooms for long. the annoying part is that they go in every 5 minutes.

I despise shopping, sure I'll go when I need something but otherwise it is hard to bear, truly! It is so pointless, a waste of money and I'd rather socialise another way. I think the shops are mostly boring and the environment is unnatural. It's not fun!

I went shopping a couple of weeks ago with my mother. After 1 hour I couldn't do it any longer and wanted to go home. I really don't like it! It is quite funny.

When I walk into the shopping centres, I feel sorry for every guy who walks past, who is curled around his girlfriend's finger, the one who has dragged him shopping. My gawd! Sure, couples need to do things together but I think shopping is plain silly, unless the guy has been dragging the girl places too haha. Aw man. Shopping is just the epitome of boring.

The only time that i don't like shopping is when im broke- there's nothing worse then stepping into a store then coming out with nothing.
