I completed my VCE this year and got a fairly decent 96.85 ENTER. My dreams of getting straight into law @ Monash however have been shattered (only one person last year got in with an ENTER under the required 98.10). So transferring after completing one year of any course is now my only option.
My question is: are there any courses that are seen as more beneficial to others in allowing me to transfer to law? I am considering either straight law or law/international studies @ Deakin, Arts @ Melbourne or banking and finance @ Monash (which I don't sort of want to go in right now because its ENTER requirement is ~82.5, meaning that all that hard work to get a ~97 was a waste).
Please help (preference changes through VTAC are closed in just a few hours now)
