i got an assessment for motors and generators i about a weeks time.
any suggestions for optimum marks would be appreciated. thanks.
a little more detail would be more helpful for us to give you some constructive feedback.
generally speaking, review:
-mathematical equations (e.g. F = BILsin@, T = BIAcos@, the parallel wires one, etc...),
-different laws (e.g. the motor effect, faraday's law, lenz's law...)
-different methods of calcuation (e.g. right hand push rule, X's and dots representing flow lines, etc...)
-the different parts of a motor/generator (split/slip rings, commutator, stator, rotor, field magnets, coil, armature, axis, etc...)
-all mentioned law's and method's applications (e.g. transformers, eddy currents, electromagnetic braking, loudspeaker, galvanometer, etc...)
