Hi,
a 07 hsc graduate here wondering;
what exactly is a GPA?
how is it calculated?
and if its easy to maintian a 5.5 GPA?

That depends on what uni you are going to, how much work you put in, what subjects they are, unit workload, and other factors.

Here is a rough explaination:

Conceded Pass: 3
Pass: 4
Credit: 5
Distinction: 6
High Distinction: 7

The GPA is the Total grade points Divided by the number of subjects/units studied.

For instance if Student X got these marks 6, 5, 4, 7, then they would have a GPA of 5.5.
