I know this is probably not the right place to put this but we have started physics on vectors and i am having trouble understanding some of the question with things such as the Head to Tail Method etc. Has anyone got any advice on understanding this part of physics?:bomb:

vectors, geometrically are denoted by an arrow.
mathematically, you can say they are denoted by [x, y] if they are 2 dimensional.

let's say on a straight line two vectors are placed head to head (not touching) at points -5 and 5 on the number line.
that means their resultant is [-5, 0] + [5, 0] = [0, 0] (a number line is 1 dimension, so y = 0)

if you cant see vectors geometrically you can try and analyse them mathematically, using trig as well.
