ok talking to my maths tutor here is what i've come up with:

in most hsc papers, the average mark is about 1 for question ten

in most hsc papers, the most common mark for questions 7-10 is 0

so basically, if you were able to get maybe 2/3 marks in questions 9 and 10 then you are doing ok..

just remember, if you found it hard, most of the people sitting the paper found it hard... can't stress about it now

on the SMH website there's an article about it with the answers to 10 (a)...i definitely got at least 4/12 for q. 10...yippee :)

i havent checked q 9 out about the time payment.. but i believe i could do it given a few more minutes :( and i stuffed up q 8!! i answered first part and correct formulae for 2 of the other 3 bits :( :( :( soo didnt go to plan dammit
