Hey all :)

I've had some conflicting responses to this question and I'm not quite sure which is correct. For Halons, do all the hydrogen atoms need to be replaced with Halogens, or just at least one?

Thanks!
Chris :)

Halons only require at least 1 hydrogen replaced by a halogen atom.

not all hydrogen atoms have to be replaced.

obviously there has to be atleast one bromo, fluoro, chloro etc, in the molecule.
