Hi Guys,
Im writing an essay for the 2012 HSC question:
"An inherent tension between confrontation and resolution is revealed through characterisation in Shakespeare's Hamlet"
To what extent does your interpretation of Hamlet align with this view?
I can see confrontations and resolution throughout the text but i don't really understand what it means by an "inherent tension" between the two. Any ideas on how the question can be interpreted?
